The export volume ranks first in the world steadily! Chinese made cars dominate the world

According to the latest data from the General Administration of Customs, China's automobile exports have exceeded the 6.4 million mark in 2024, firmly ranking first in the world.

In Shanghai Port, the total throughput of roll on/roll off vehicles will reach 3.63 million by 2024, a year-on-year increase of 15%, and the throughput will soar to the top of the world for the first time. Among them, the proportion of foreign trade vehicle throughput will exceed 60%. At present, Shanghai Port has 15 international car roll on/roll off routes, connecting 289 ports in 131 countries and regions.

On February 26th, at Tianjin Port, the largest automobile import and export hub in northern China, more than 4000 domestically produced independent brand cars from the Beijing Tianjin Hebei region set sail from Tianjin Port's global roll on/roll off terminal to markets such as South America, setting a new record for Tianjin Port's single ship export of commercial vehicles.

These vehicles are all developed in Beijing and manufactured in Tianjin Hebei, covering various types such as pure electric, hybrid, and fuel vehicles. At present, Tianjin Port has roll on/roll off shipping routes connecting more than 30 countries and regions including Europe, the Middle East, and South America. Especially with the launch of a new direct roll on/roll off route to Mexico in January this year, it has opened up a new strategic channel for China's automobile exports.
